I’ve been a senior software engineer at TuringSense since January 2020, now part-time, and I take contract work. AideyHD is in open beta on iOS and Android, and you can join it at aideyhd.com.
Selected work
Personitech. From 2017 to 2019 I was the founding engineer at Personitech, and its only engineer. I built almost all of ProcessSmart, its AWS-hosted platform for moving customers’ paper forms onto devices: the Java API, the MySQL schema, the Angular web app, and an Android app that saved forms on the phone so irrigation technicians could upload them once they had a signal again.
TuringSense. I’m a co-inventor, second of seven, on US 12,198,243 B2. Since January 2020 I’ve worked on real-time motion capture in C# and Unity, and I own the Android Bluetooth layer our apps run on. In 2025 we replaced an unmaintained plugin with our own, written in Java, so that a dropped connection reconnects on its own.
AideyHD. In 2026 I took this app for people with ADHD from first commit to open beta on iOS and Android in eight weeks. I designed it and made the product and architecture calls. Claude Code wrote most of the Swift and Kotlin, and I review and test that code before it ships.
Away from the keyboard
I cook for my church: thirty to forty people once a month, and two hundred on Mother’s Day with a team. I also lead worship, coordinate our care team’s ushering rotation, and play pickleball on a court the church drew on its parking lot.
What I’m looking for
I’m looking for a full-time mobile, backend, or full-stack role at a product company. I’m taking contract work from startups and companies that need a product built.
